MSAR Government Establishing Database, Macao Residents Invited to Register

The MSAR Government attaches great importance to constructing a long-term mechanism for the cultivation of talents and is proactively collecting information to establish a talent database, acquiring scientific data as references for policy formulation. To further promote the relevant work, the Talents Development Committee website went live on 8th July 2014, offering an official Talent Information Registration page to extensively collect information on Macao talents. The Chinese version of the aforementioned website has been launched first, with Portuguese and English versions to go live in mid-July. Eligible Macao residents are welcome to register on the website.

Online Registration Easy and Prompt
Macao residents who hold technical qualification / licence in their industries, any professional certification, higher education degree, or have rich management experience in businesses or enterprises / organisations/other specialties, are invited to register on the Talent Information Registration. Procedures of registration are easy and prompt; all you need to do is login the Talent Information Registration page (https://www.cdqq.gov.mo/register), fill in your personal information, education background, and work experience to complete the registration. Submitted information is strictly confidential.

Posting Handbills Assists Collecting Extensive Information on Macao Talent
In order to inform Macao residents that the MSAR Government is now conducting an extensive collection of Macao talents’ information, the Committee posts the handbill enclosed with the mail containing the cheque for the Wealth Partaking Scheme to Macao residents (aged 18 to 64), so that the government may understand and grasp the situation of talents both in Macao and overseas countries.

Moreover, in consideration of public servants, teachers and students who receive higher education scholarship collection funds from the Wealth Partaking Scheme via bank transfer, the Committee delivers official letters to the Public Administration and Civil Service Bureau, Education and Youth Affairs Bureau and some relevant official departments in order to assist in informing residents about the information.

Submitted information will be used for statistics and collation by the government; data and analyses will be used as reference for the formulation of various talent cultivation policies and short/middle/long-term measures. Gathering information on Macao talents who live abroad for a long time may enhance the connection between them and the government, thus they can be provided with the latest information on Macao’s development in a timely manner and be attracted to stay in or return to Macao for its further development.
